PORTFOLIO
1. QUAD: One Place, So Many Possibilities
the need: college students are busy. they juggle multiple classes per semester, clubs, student organizations, athletics, arts, and even research positions. with every extracurricular commitment comes a different communication platform. whether it be Slack, GroupMe, WhatsApp, When2Meet, or even iMessages, students are expected to keep track of incoming messages across each app, all while staying focused on school and their own personal wellness. QUAD reimagines what communication means on a college campus. by consolidating the most sought-after features from current platforms on the market, QUAD centralizes students, faculty, and administrators onto one platform.

2. CadenceHealth: Redesigning Continuous Glucose Monitor Interfaces for Meaningful User Engagement
the need: continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) are powerful medical devices that have democratized access to real-time blood glucose data. although incredibly valuable, CGMs also present several limitations. existing literature in the field emphasizes two common struggles among users of CGM: the outputted data is difficult to interpret and the constant alerting from the device becomes tiresome. through my own literature review and interviews with key stakeholders, i strived to reimagine the user interface of a CGM platform. rather than serving as a dashboard for raw data, this platform acts as an active resource for patients to use and interact with. CadenceHealth deploys an image classifcation ML model to identify food groups in a photograph of an individual’s meal and correlates blood glucose trends from their CGM with potential effectors (contributing to high glucose) and neutralizers (contributing to stable glucose).
